Shifts Tracker keeps work data local on iPhone for tracking work shifts, schedules, hourly rates, tips, and estimated earnings.
Data Stored On Device
The native iPhone app stores the information you enter in the app's local Application Support storage on your device:
- Display name.
- Shift start and end times.
- Hourly rates, currency, tips, and notes.
- Weekly schedule.
- Language, theme, text size, and notification settings.
- Legal acceptance version and timestamp.
Data Collection
The native iPhone app does not send your shift data to Shifts Tracker servers. Pseudonymous product analytics is enabled by default after you accept the Terms and Privacy Notice. The app sends product-usage events to PostHog Cloud EU so we can understand which parts of the app are used and improve the product. Events include a random installation identifier used only to count unique installations and measure product usage. You can disable Analytics at any time in Settings.
Analytics events may include the random installation identifier, app version, iOS major version, interface language, screen names, and high-level actions such as starting a shift or completing onboarding. The installation identifier is not linked to your name, email, account, advertising ID, or activity in other apps. Events do not include your shift dates or times, hourly rates, tips, earnings, notes, backup contents, or Telegram identity. The app does not use advertising SDKs, session replay, or cross-app tracking.
Local Notifications
If you enable notifications, Shifts Tracker schedules local reminders on your device for shift start and end times. These reminders are handled by iOS. Shifts Tracker does not use push notifications for the native iPhone app.
Sync
The native iPhone app currently does not sync with Telegram, Supabase, or any Shifts Tracker backend. Data from the Telegram Mini App and the native iPhone app are separate.
Backups
Apple may include app data in device or iCloud backups depending on your iOS and Apple account settings. Apple processes that data under Apple's terms and privacy policy.
Your Choices
You can edit or delete shifts and settings in the app. You can disable Analytics at any time in Settings. Removing the app removes its local data and installation identifier from the device, subject to iOS backup behavior.
